Dear Magical Diary: Post Four

Dear Magical Diary,

Note: As part of my "Charm School" project with Cara Mia of Cutewitch772 this summer, I have decided to keep a daily and public magical diary.  In what we're calling the Charm School Syllabus (a list of suggested tasks for someone seeking a first degree initiation published in Silver RavenWolf's book To Stir a Magick Cauldron), one task is "Provide a magickal diary to your instructor that encompasses one full year of your magickal experiences." Now, this task doesn't explicitly state that this diary needs daily entries, but I have decided to write daily as best I can.

Yesterday was a day of literary adventures and mystical musings. I finished splashing around in the short book How to Be a Mermaid by Elyrria Swann. Let me tell you, Diary, that book has sparked a watery fire within me. I'm itching to explore the meditations and activities inside, eager to deepen my connection with the alluring water element. And guess where I finished reading it? Yup, you got it—sitting by the pool at the condo complex. I mean, talk about embodying the essence of water, right? Soaking up those mermaid vibes like a true aquatic enthusiast. I am not a watery person by nature; there's almost no water in my birth chart, and I was also raised to not show emotions, so this is a huge thing for me.

I also posted Gemini season podcast episodes to Patreon, and I will release them week by week to the general public. The topic for the season is commonly asked questions. The episodes are shorter than usual, and I want to convert them to videos so that people can listen (watch?) on YouTube.

Now, since I've finished rereading Atomic Habits this week, I decided to delve into the realm of badassery with Jen Sincero's Badass Habit. As I embarked on my mundane tasks, I let Sincero's words flow through my ears, brewing a potent mix of inspiration and motivation. And you know what's on my badass agenda? Establishing a kickass meditation practice. It's time to quiet the mind and let the cosmic energy flow.

And today, my diary friend, the saga continues. I've got at least one gig in my mundane job lined up, and you can bet your magical pages I'll be rockin' Badass Habits in the background like my personal anthem. Oh, and I just went through the remnants of my "40 by 40" list. You know, those 40 things I wanted to accomplish before reaching the grand milestone of forty years old. I sent some emails, adjusted my calendar, and made it my mission to conquer those remaining ten goals. Time's a-tickin', and I refuse to let these dreams slip away.

In the midst of it all, I sought guidance from the Universe through the mystical language of tarot cards. My question echoed through the cosmos, seeking insight about my business. And what card did I draw? The two of swords. Diary, I confess, it caught me off guard. It's a moment to pause, to sit with the card's enigmatic message, and decipher the wisdom it holds for my entrepreneurial path.

Yours under the stars,

Stella
