Dear Magical Diary: Post Eight
Dear Magical Diary,
Note: As part of my "Charm School" project with Cara Mia of Cutewitch772 this summer, I have decided to keep a daily and public magical diary. In what we're calling the Charm School Syllabus (a list of suggested tasks for someone seeking a first degree initiation published in Silver RavenWolf's book To Stir a Magick Cauldron), one task is "Provide a magickal diary to your instructor that encompasses one full year of your magickal experiences." Now, this task doesn't explicitly state that this diary needs daily entries, but I have decided to write daily as best I can.
Yesterday was a productive day for my mundane business, as I managed to accomplish a multitude of tasks. However, amidst the busyness, I had to prioritize my commitments and make a few adjustments to my magical plans.
One of the highlights of yesterday was visiting a local public labyrinth. My purpose for this excursion was to scout the site in preparation for the labyrinth class I am teaching this Sunday. As I walked the winding paths, I could feel the subtle energy of the labyrinth enveloping me, promising a transformative experience for those who will join me on this enchanting journey. With the location now familiar to me, I feel confident and excited to guide others through this mystical practice.
While I didn't manage to complete the rainbow spell as originally intended, I took a step towards its manifestation by purchasing the nail polish required for the spell. Although it may not align with the full moon energy anymore, I have decided to proceed with the rainbow spell as an individual practice. This way, I can still infuse my life with vibrant colors, positivity, and a touch of magic.
Now, let's shift our focus to the plans for the upcoming day, which promises to be a busy but fulfilling one. As luck would have it, I don't have any clients scheduled for my mundane business today, granting me the opportunity to tackle an array of tasks and responsibilities.
First on the agenda is grocery shopping. While it may seem like a mundane chore, I embrace it as an opportunity to select ingredients and nourishing foods that will not only sustain my physical well-being but also contribute to the energetic harmony of my being.
Following the grocery shopping, I have planned to devote some time to cleaning my condo. As I cleanse the physical space, I will simultaneously cleanse the energetic imprints that may have accumulated over time. Each swipe of the cloth and every spritz of natural cleaning solutions will be accompanied by thoughts of renewal and purification, creating an environment that is both inviting and harmonious. I have a new cleaning apron to wear, and I am excited to work on speeding up my cleaning process.
A significant task for today is obtaining my driver's license with my married last name on it. This endeavor symbolizes a transition, marking a new chapter in my life. As I navigate the bureaucratic process, I attempt to remain calm and kind. I will bring a book along to the DMV and relax as best I can.
Lastly, I am excited to dedicate some time to prepping for the labyrinth class. I will gather materials, create informative handouts, and curate a lesson plan that allows my students to delve into the magical realm of labyrinths. It is my intention to guide them towards self-discovery, encouraging them to embrace the winding paths of life with courage, curiosity, and an open heart.
Although today's agenda may be packed with various responsibilities, I approach each task with a sense of joy and anticipation. By infusing mundane activities with magical intention, I transform them into meaningful experiences, aligning my daily life with the enchanting realm that resides within.
Yours under the stars, Stella
