My first tarot deck (Day 2 of the 30 Day Tarot Challenge)
Ree over at Wisps of Stardust on Tumblr created a 30 Day Tarot Challenge, to which I will be responding over the next month.
I touched on this in my last tarot post; my first deck was from a childhood friend. She knew I was Neo-Wiccan at the time, and so she bought me The Goddess Tarot by Kris Waldherr, a wonderful, beautiful deck. I didn't read much, scared to be caught by my strict Catholic parents. Still, I adored the art and the pagan-friendly vibe of that deck. I would love to own it again.
I think the Goddess Tarot is a great deck for meditation and spellwork in addition to readings. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I was lucky to have a cool, non-witch in my life who supported me so much on my spiritual path.
