Brigid and Christmas Eve

I will tend Brigid's flame from sundown to sundown starting tonight.

Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it!  This witch loves Christmas, and if I wasn't flamekeeping tonight, I would go to a midnight mass.  Midnight mass is a family tradition.  Though I am not Christian, I find the Christmas story very beautiful and believe that Christmas traditions form important parts of many cultures.

For anyone concerned about a witch in church, please know that I always participate appropriately.  Catholic masses are open to all.  I don't take communion, and I don't make any vows that I don't intend to keep.  If you are interested in religions that are not your own, I suggest that you go to their services as allowed.  Check out the book How to Be a Perfect Stranger on the etiquette of different houses of worship.
