Day 28: Favorite spell you found/wrote/used.
This post is part of a 31 Days of Secular Witchcraft series in which I answer questions about my own personal views about magic and witchcraft. I urge you to answer the same questions, found here, on your own blog.
I could no sooner pick a favorite star in the heavens. I think that all the spells I do grow out of a need that I have in the moment, and I am becoming more and more convinced that if I follow my intuition, I am doing it right. I used to feel a lot more self-conscious than I do now.
I'm looking forward to someday doing a baby blessing. I envision a group of men and women bestowing a bunch of spiritual gifts and blessings fairy godmother-style. That is the spell I look forward to the most, and I hope that I someday get to be a part of that. I've found some good ideas in Circle Round.
Some of my favorite witchy moments include the lone strawberry growing in the middle of the garden where we danced for Midsummer, the wind picking up when I mentioned the east and then dying down immediately and for the rest of the ritual before one run, and when I spread out a deck of tarot cards in front of my newly adopted cat and she batted one card out of the deck then picked up another one with her teeth.
