Zine thoughts
So, our second issue has gone to press. We have a few year subscriptions ordered, which is exciting. However, it makes this project seem so much more real; I have a real audience with real expectations.
One of my biggest dreams and aspirations for Cross Quarterly is that it is interfaith, with a wide variety of contributors and readers. I want a safe, inclusive space for all practitioners of magic. So far, we have been a bit lagging in the aspect of diverse contributors, mostly because we are still starting out. I am hoping that as the zine becomes more well-known, that more writers and other content creators will come to the table.
I think that interfaith discourse is necessary in today's magical and spiritual community. I have learned so much from others. I have had some of my most basic assumptions challenged, and I have only grown from those conversations.
