so that I may wholly play my part.

Help me make a healing start

to carry your flame through winter's chill

O, Lady of Kildare, kindle bright willingness in my heart.

Thank you for poetry, that healing art,

may my pen be inspired to do your will

so that I may wholly play my part.

May I open up and heal my heart

and never wish another ill,

Lady of Stars, kindle kind willingness in my heart.

Holy goddess, hold me fast and never part

Cover me with your mantle against the chill

So that I can safely play my part.

Foster mother, do not depart

Your priestess of your fiery cill

Divine mystery, kindle willingness in my heart

so that I may play my sacred part.
